Luthier Michel Belair has shared some sneak peek photos of his newest double top guitar built for GSI! While Michel has been perfecting his double top designs over the past 5–6 years, this is the first of its kind to make its way to our store.
Several top artists perform on Michel's double top model. Among them are Aniello Desiderio, Amadeus Duo, Giovanni Masi, Roland Schlieder, and Massimo Delle Chese.
The soundboard of this guitar is made using two thin pieces of cedar with Nomex elongated cells in between.... read more at GSI.

Roland Schlieder is a distinguished classical guitarist, celebrated for his captivating performances and innovative teaching methods.
On his website, visitors can explore concert videos, sheet music, and audio examples designed to support and enrich the learning experience. His unique Guitar Yoga master classes create an inspiring environment in which musicians of all levels can grow and thrive.
After completing his Master’s studies with Celin Romero, a member of the renowned guitar family Los Romeros, he spent more than ten years conducting symphony orchestras and performing guitar concerts across Europe, the USA, and South America.
In April 2024, he made his New York debut at Carnegie Hall, performing Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez with the New York Chamber Players.
In November 2025, he premiered Vivaldi’s Concerto in D major, performing with the Wiesbaden Accordion Orchestra.
